I'm a first-time home buyer and Bob, Eric, Amy, and the Eric Marcus team were all very helpful and a pleasure to work with. They were all very communicative and accommodating, no matter the issue at hand or the question. Specifically, I worked with Bob Copeland, who had helped me find two prior rental apartments. Once as a college student a few years back, and another during the height of covid in 2020. Each time he was great, and each time really made the whole process as easy and pain-free as possible. Down the line if I ever make another move, I definitely plan on working with them again and will continue to refer any of my friends that are looking for a place.

We decided to move from California due to very high expenses and home prices. Also, we have family and friends nearby in Chicago. My son hooked me up to Fernando who was a great agent. He was very patient and responsive whenever I reached out with questions and completed everything in a timely manner. I'm happy to report that everything went as smoothly as possible.

As a parent of a Chicago college student, I was looking to purchase an apartment to save on dorm costs. On the parent Facebook page of my daughter s school, I saw Bob Copeland s name mentioned several times as a trustworthy Realtor who had helped other students find housing, so I called him. I live in France and was very nervous about choosing a property from a distance without having seen it in person. Patient and responsive, Bob was my steadfast guide and loyal advocate throughout this long-distance process. I could always count on him to accompany my daughter to viewings and honestly explain the advantages and disadvantages of each property to me. In only two months, he helped us find the perfect condo within our modest budget. Going above and beyond, he then helped me set up electricity (not so easy when you live abroad), prepare a lease for my daughter s roommate, and find a contractor to renovate. I am extremely grateful to Bob and am going to miss our daily updates. I am also thankful to Eric and team for their support. I couldn't have done it without them.

Eric was phenomenal on both ends of our sale/purchase. He helped us sell our condo (with multiple offers to choose from) almost as quickly as it went on the market and for much more than we expected to get before we began the process. Then he helped us with a fairly lengthy search due to a combination of picky buyers and unusually sparse inventory that ultimately ended up a house we're thrilled with at a price we could manage. Throughout he was patient about/responsive to our frantic texts, emails, and calls--talking us off the ledge more than once when we worried we might not find what we wanted. We always felt like we were in capable hands. I'd absolutely recommend Eric to anyone buying or selling a house.
